Security Master Planning

Incorporating security concepts into the earliest phases of project design and planning provides the best opportunity to achieve a comprehensive and cost-effective security plan.  

By working with owners and design teams at the beginning of the project to develop and implement governing security concepts, security can become integrated into the design fabric. Historically, these early planning efforts have led to reduced security staffing and security technology requirements later in the project lifecycle.  

A master planning effort can help establish long-term security goals for existing facilities while also prioritizing and sequencing the incremental steps needed to achieve those goals. Those steps can then be incorporated into long-term capital planning exercises.
