Technical Specifications

Drawings alone do not provide all of the information required to manufacture and install a BHS. Along with the detailed drawings, we produce specifications for baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges with gate and ground support and aircraft parking. The specification provides the manufacturers and installers with specific performance criteria and standardized material and component requirements.

With a commitment to energy efficiency, all specifications are individually developed for each project in industry-standard CSI format and conform to the project's specific needs. These specifications provide baseline information for use in standardizing the bidding process and managing the construction phase to ensure contractors build to each project's desired requirements.

Ross & Baruzzini is also fully versed in addressing TSA requirements for processing pre-design, schematic, and detailed design documents. These documents include preliminary and preferred alternative analysis reports, design reports, specifications, configuration management plans, and contingency plans.
